Learned counsel for the respondent, appearing through video conferencing, along with the wife of the landlord present in person, submits that the possession of the subject premises has already been handed over by the petitioners/ tenants on 25.08.2025 in pursuance of the execution proceeding being M EX No. 5082/2016. 2.

As such, in view of the decision of Hon'ble Supreme Court in N.C. Daga v. Inder Mohan Singh Rana [2003 (1) SCC 453] and Vinod Kumar Verma v. Manmohan Verma & Anr. [Civil Appeal Nos.52205221 of 2008 order dated 19.08.2008] has become infructuous. 3.

Accordingly, the present petition, along with the pending application(s), stands disposed of.
