During the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner informed that by the impugned order amount of `2 lacs has been ordered to be deposited for both the respondents. The respondent No.1 is employed as Vice-Principal in the Sr.Secondary School, Kishan Ganj, Delhi and has sufficient income to maintain herself.

Perusal of the order reveals that primarily `2 lacs has been directed to be deposited for the maintenance of the unmarried daughter i.e. respondent No.2.
Learned Trial Court has noted that when both the parents are earning, it is their responsibility to contribute towards maintenance of their daughter. CRL.M.C. 3424/2016

It is clarified that this payment of `2 lacs shall be considered as a token of ad interim measure for the maintenance of respondent No.2 only.
This payment shall be without prejudice and subject to further adjustment (if any).
