% 27.05.2015 Petitioners are major. This fact is not in dispute. Respondent no. 3 is father of petitioner no. 1. Petitioners fell in love and have married against the wishes of respondent no. 3 and other family members. Petitioners have approached this Court for police protection. It is alleged that respondent no. 3 is threatening the petitioners with dire consequences. Vide order dated 8th May, 2015, Station House Officers of Police Stations Hazarat Nizamuddin and New Friends Colony were directed to ensure the safety of petitioners. Learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that an armed constable has

been deployed outside the house of petitioner no. 2. Respondent no. 3 is present in Court and submits that he has no intention to cause any harm to the petitioners, since they have married of their own free will. Writ petition is disposed of with the directions to Station House Officers of Police Stations Hazarat Nizamuddin and New Friends Colony to ensure the safety of petitioners.
