% 17.02.2016 The learned counsel for the petitioner affirms that the principal sum equivalent to Rs.26,95,949/- has already been paid by the respondent.
The learned counsel for the petitioner asserts that some amount should be paid towards interest. The learned counsel for the parties are agreed that the interest be quantified at Rs. 2,39,000/-. Furthermore, the learned counsel for the respondent undertakes to the court that this amount will be paid within four weeks from today.

Based on the submission made before me, the learned counsel for the petitioner says that he does not wish to press the captioned petition any further.
Needless to say, in case of default, the petitioner will have liberty to revive the present petition and take recourse to an appropriate remedy that may be available to it, in law. The captioned petition and the pending applications are disposed of, in the aforesaid terms.
