The petitioner seeks regular bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.490/2016 registered under Sections 376/506 IPC at PS Rajouri Garden. Status report not filed.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file.
The petitioner is in custody since 21.04.2016. Upon completion of investigation, a charge-sheet has since been filed. The prosecutrix and the victim were acquainted with each other since long. Friendship developed between the two. Physical relationship BAIL APPLN. 1897/2016
took place albeit on the alleged promise to marry several times. There is delay in lodging the FIR.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is admitted to bail on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 40,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court.

The bail application stands disposed of.
