% 25.10.2016 Learned counsel for the petitioners states that in accordance with the order dated 28th July, 2016, the petitioners have voluntarily removed the unauthorized construction as pointed out in the status report dated 28th October, 2015.

Learned counsel for the respondent-SDMC states that after verifying the facts, the Corporation shall taken suitable action in accordance with law within a period of two weeks. She also assures this Court that in the event, the unauthorized construction has been removed, directions shall be issued for restoration of the petitioners' electricity and water connections.

In view of the aforesaid statement, learned counsel for the petitioners does not wish to press the present writ petition and

pending application. Consequently, the same are disposed of. Order dasti.
