W.P.(C) No.3961/2017 This Court is of the opinion that the present writ petition is not maintainable given the previous foreclosure of the petitioners' claim recorded by this Court's order dated 11.08.2016, after which they sought details about the deposit of compensation.

In the subsequent writ petition disposed of on 14.02.2017 (W.P.(C) No.1175/2017), the respondents were directed to provide the requisite details within eight weeks. This ipso facto does not lead rise to the right of the petitioners to request release of the lands on the assumption that W.P.(C) No.3961/2017

Section 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 is attracted; having given up such a claim in the previous proceedings. At the same time, the respondents shall ensure that the details, which the Court directed to be furnished on 14.02.2017 shall, in fact, be disclosed to the petitioner within four weeks.

Writ petition is dismissed.
