The petitioner has filed the present petition praying that the respondent (BSES) be directed to correct the electricity bill of electricity connection provided to the petitioner (CA No. 150665781). 2.

The petitioner had purchased the premises in question (C-51, Ground Floor, DDA Shed, Okhla Industrial Area Phase-I, New Delhi-110020) from one M/s D.K. Industries Work. Apparently, certain electricity dues were outstanding and payable by M/s D.K. Industries in respect of their connection CA No. 100016283. BSES now seeks to recover the said dues from the petitioner. The learned counsel appearing for BSES states that BSES is entitled to recover the dues in respect of the premises in question

from the subsequent purchaser as well. He further states that the petitioner has an equally efficacious alternate remedy of approaching the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum.

In the aforesaid view, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum within a period of four weeks from today.

In the meantime, BSES shall not disconnect the electricity provided the petitioner continues to pay the current charges. 5.

It is clarified that all contentions of the parties are reserved. 6.

The petition is disposed of.
