This is a joint petition filed by the parties seeking extension of time for completion of the arbitration proceedings to render and publish the award.

The petition bears signatures of the authorized representatives of the petitioner and the respondent. The petition also bears signatures of their respective counsel.

2.1 In addition thereto, the petition is supported by the affidavits of the authorized representatives of the petitioner and the respondent. 3.

I am informed by the counsel for the parties that the Arbitral Tribunal entered upon reference on 21.8.2016 and that this Court vide order dated 20.2.2018 extended the time for pronouncement of the award.

Counsel for the parties inform me that the Arbitral Tribunal has reserved the matter for pronouncing/publishing of the award and hence O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 222/2018 Pg 1 of 2

the need to file the instant petition.

Accordingly, as prayed, the time for rendering and publishing the award is extended till 30.11.2018.
