The application stands disposed-off.

BAIL APPLN. 1992/2018 The petitioner seeks bail for an operation outside the jail, on account of his suffering from left inguinal hernia. The doctors of Mandoli Jail, Delhi, have advised immediate surgery upon him. Mr. Amit Chadha, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State opposes the bail on the ground that the petitioner is involved in seven heinous crimes; he had fired a gun-shot upon a police party, one police officer, was fortunately saved from fatality because he was wearing a bullet proof jacket; assault rifles and other weapons were recovered from the accused etc. from him; the vehicle involved in the murder of the father of

one Mr. Manjeet @ Mahal was also recovered from the petitioner; he is the head of a notorious gang and is the main person who has been accused of having committed the murder as well as having fired upon the police officer. He further submits that the requisite medical facilities are available in the Jail Hospital and should there be a need for his treatment outside the jail, only then would it be necessary for the petitioner to be taken out of the jail. However, it is expected that the Jail Authorities would accord the petitioner due medical care in the jail premises and perform the operation upon the petitioner, if he is so willing, preferably in the next two days. The petition is disposed-off in the above terms.

A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties under signature of the Court Master.
