% 29.08.2018 CM No.34916/2018 1.
Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.
W.P.(C) 9069/2018 2.
The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, impugning the order dated 22.05.2018 (hereafter 'the impugned order'), which indicates that the FDI proposal submitted by the petitioner has been rejected by the Competent Authority. The principal grievance of the petitioner is that the impugned order does not indicate any reason for doing so. Although, it appears from the averments made in this petition that the reasons for rejection are fairly obvious; nonetheless, it would be apposite if the respondents formally communicate the same to the petitioner.
3.
Mr Jasmeet Singh, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents states on instructions that the reasons for rejecting the petitioner's proposal would be formally communicated to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from today.
In view of the said statement, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition. 4.
The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
