% 15.09.2016 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of order dated 29th March 2016 whereby the respondentDeputy Commissioner (North-West), Delhi was directed to dispose of petitioner's application under section 28 of the Delhi Land Revenue Act 1954 with respect to Khasra No.451, Village Nizampur, Delhi expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months. The Court further directed both the parties to maintain status quo regarding the possession till the aforesaid application is disposed of. Learned counsel for the petitioner states despite the aforesaid order, respondent has not disposed of petitioner's application till date. Upon a perusal of the order dated 29th March, 2016, this Court finds that no specified time period has been stipulated in the said order. Consequently, the present contempt petition is dismissed. However, the respondent-Deputy Commissioner (North-West), Delhi
is directed to decide the petitioner's application under Section 28 of the Delhi Land Revenue Act 1954 within a period of two months in accordance with law.
