% 26.05.2017 The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India essentially sought directions to the official respondents to trace the daughter of the petitioner, namely, Ms. Shrijana, who it is alleged, was missing since November-December, 2016.
Ms. Shrijana, the daughter of the petitioner is present in person, in the Court today.
A status report dated 25th May, 2017 has been filed by the Station House Officer, Police Station Kotla, Mubarak Pur, New Delhi, in this behalf.

A perusal of the same, and in particular, the statement of Ms. Shrijana recorded under Section 164 Cr.PC, annexed thereto, clearly reveals that according to Ms. Shrijana, she left her mother's company of her own free will. It is an admitted position that Ms. Shrijana has attained majority. In view of the foregoing, no further directions are called for, in the present petition.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
