W.P.(C) 7959/2016 & C.M. No.33008/2016 Petitioner is stated to be vending from opposite Shop No.22, Babu Market, Sarojini Nagar Market, New Delhi. To substantiate his submission he has placed on record a prosecution challan of the year 2009. His submission is that he is protected under the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014.

Per contra, learned counsel for the respondent submits that this prosecution challan does not vest any right in favour of the petitioner.

Be that as it may, noting the submission of the respondent no.1 that the Town Vending Committee (TVC) qua respondent no.1 (NDMC) has since been constituted, the grievance of the petitioner, if any, will be addressed before the said TVC.

No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
