% 27.08.2018 The petitioner's limited grievance is that its request to amend the bill of lading in present case has not been dealt with so far. The imports in this case were of June 2017; the application for amendment of the Bill of Lading was made on 07.07.2017. After the import, the petitioner alleges that according to the prevailing instructions and rules, such requests should be dealt with and the order be made at the earliest i.e. within 24 hours.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, we are of the opinion that since considerable time has lapsed, respondents shall in

the facts of the case examine the amendment of bill of lading in this case at the earliest period - not later than 10 days and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law.

The writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Order dasti.
