% 04.10.2016 It is stated by the counsel for the respondents that amounts of refund for four quarters i.e. Rs.6,85,770/- Rs.4,16,685/- Rs.7,71,291/- and Rs.20,72,479/- (which include the interest payable) have been allowed in this petition.
The respondents are directed to ensure that the amount is paid to the petitioner within a week from today.
In case there is some discrepancy with respect to the interest amount, the assessee is at liberty to claim the balance. In the event of such application, the assessing authority shall complete the proceedings in respect of such balance amount within 30 days of receipt of such application.
The writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
