During the course of arguments, it was informed that certain dowry articles have been returned to the complainant. Complainant informed that complete dowry articles including the jewellery have not yet been handed over.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, offered to pay `1.5 lacs to the complainant towards dowry articles without prejudice and subject to future adjustment (if any). On this, complainant has no objection to the grant of bail. 3.

By an order dated 11.05.2015, the petitioner was granted interim protection and was directed to join the investigation as and BAIL APPLN. 884/2015

when required. Status report reveals that the petitioner has joined the investigation since then. Certain dowry articles have been returned and `1.5 lacs have been offered to be paid to the complainant towards remaining dowry articles without prejudice and subject to future adjustment (if any).

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the offer of the petitioner, he is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 40,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required. `1.5 lacs shall be paid by the petitioner to the complainant within four weeks through Investigating Officer by way of demand draft.

In case of non-compliance of the order, the complainant will be at liberty to approach this Court. 5.

The bail application stands disposed of.
