A Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed for bringing Respondent No.3/husband of the Petitioner to the book of justice and set the criminal justice system into motion. 2.

Apparently, the Petitioner got married to the Respondent No.3 whose departure has been traced to London, but thereafter, his whereabouts could not be ascertained. It is further submitted that FIR No.0994 of 16.12.2015 under Section 498A/406/34 IPC P.S. Farsh Bazar has been registered in which he has been declared a Proclaimed Offender. It has been submitted by the I.O that that the Lookout Notice has been issued and the Passport has been cancelled. His present whereabouts are not known.

Considering that the Chargesheet has already been filed and the Lookout Notice has also been issued and the present whereabouts of the Respondent No.3 are not traceable, nothing further needs to be directed in the present Writ Petition. However, the Petitioner is at liberty to pursue her remedy before the appropriate Forum.

The Petition stands disposed of.
