$~30 * IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI + W.P.(C) 8000/2016 MANJEET SINGH ..... Petitioner Through Mr.Azam Ansari, Advocate.

versus BSES RAJDHANI POWER LTD. & ORS.

..... Respondents Through Mr.Deepak Pathak, Advocate for BSES.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANMOHAN

O R D E R

% 08.09.2016 Present writ petition has been listed in pursuance to an urgent mentioning being allowed by the Division Bench. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not wish to press the prayer clauses (b) to (e) and he only prays that the petitioner‟s electricity connection be restored forthwith. Learned counsel for the respondent-BSES who appears on advance notice states that the petitioner‟s premise has been inspected today itself and it has been found that the electricity meter is duly energised. He further states that BSES has not disconnected the petitioner‟s power supply.

Admittedly, there are disputes between the petitioner and his sister, who is respondent no.2 in the present petition. Since private disputes cannot be resolved in the writ jurisdiction, present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate

proceedings in accordance with the law. However, the statements made by learned counsel for BSES are accepted by this Court and BSES is held bound by the same.
