O R D E R

% 19.09.2016 Mr. Mehra has tendered the verification/ status report. Mr. Mehra points out from the nominal roll that the petitioner has availed of parole already on two occasions this year itself, i.e. between 23.05.2016 to 20.06.2016 and 20.07.2016 to 27.07.2016, apart from furlough twice between 23.01.2016 to 13.02.2016 and 07.04.2016 to 21.04.2016. Mr. Mehra points out that the earlier parole had also been granted on the ground of marriage in the family. Mr. Mehra submits that the petitioner cannot make it a routine to seek parole on such grounds as marriage and such like developments, in a large family, keep

occurring every now and then. He further submits that the petitioner is a cousin brother and not immediate sibling of the person getting married. Considering the fact that the petitioner's conduct is disclosed to be satisfactory and the fact that he has surrendered on each occasion punctually, the petitioner is directed to be released on parole for a period of four days to be able to attend the marriage. He shall be released on parole on 23.09.2016 and he shall duly surrender on 27.09.2016. The same shall be subject to the condition that he shall furnish his personal bond with one surety in the sum of Rs.10,000/- to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent.
