Crl. M. A. Nos. 11532/2017 (Release of amount) This is an application for release of the amount deposited with the Registrar General of this Court, to the complainant/applicant. Learned counsel for the applicant/complainant submits that parties had resolved their disputes in terms of MoU dated 14.04.2017 and vide order dated 07.07.2017 of this Court, the FIR No. 84/2016 under Section 420/8468/471/506 IPC registered at Police Station - Chankya Puri was quashed. He further submits that petitioner had deposited a sum of Rs.54 Lacs with the Registrar General of this Court and the same amount be released in favour of the applicant/complainant in terms of Clause 1 of the MoU dated 14.04.2017.

Heard.

Statements of the parties have been recorded separately. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties in terms of MoU dated 14.04.2017 and the fact that the FIR in question has been quashed, the Registrar General of this Court is directed to release the amount of Rs.54 Lacs deposited in this Court along with the interest accrued to the applicant/complainant after proper identification of the applicant/complainant.

Application stands disposed of.
