% 10.11.2016 It is stated that since the refund claim pertains to certain quarters in 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11 and 2011-12, the respondents would require some time to process it. A direction is accordingly issued to the respondent to process the refund claims/applications and further credit the amounts payable along with interest to the petitioner's account within a week. In case of any discrepancy or shortfall of interest in respect of any or all quarters, it is open to the petitioner to move an application in that regard. The same shall be decided within one month of its receipt by the concerned VATO. The writ petition is allowed in the above terms.
