This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.231/2010 under Section 498A/406/34 IPC registered at PS Karawal Nagar. It is stated that the matter has been settled amicably and the petitioner and Respondent No.2 are living together happily in the matrimonial home since 17.7.2012.

Respondent No.2/ Complainant is present before the Court with her counsel and is identified by the Investigating Officer. I have CRL.M.C. 1906/2017

enquired from her whether the matter has been settled with the petitioners amicably without fear and pressure. She has stated that the matter has been settled without any fear or pressure and she is living happily in the matrimonial home since 17.7.2012. 3.

The petition is supported by the affidavit of the parties. 4.

Since the matter has been settled between the parties and the complainant is residing with petitioner in the matrimonial home happily, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings under Sections 498A/40634 IPC. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to maintain their matrimonial relations, FIR No.231/2010 under Section 498A/406/34 IPC registered at PS Karawal Nagar and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed. 5.

The petition and all pending application(s) stand disposed of accordingly.
