CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 20.09.2016 Marital discord between the husband and wife, that is, petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2, has led to the registration of the present FIR No.152/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at CAW Cell, Nanak Pura, Delhi against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos.2 & 3.

Petitioners and respondent no.2 have reconciled their differences and have started living together since 1st June, 2016. Respondent no.2 (wife) is present in Court and submits that in view of the settlement, she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

Keeping in mind the facts that husband and wife have reconciled their differences and they have started living together, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, FIR No.152/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at CAW Cell, Nanak Pura, Delhi is quashed.

Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. A.K. PATHAK, J.
