The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.267/2016 registered under Sections 323/341/308/506/34 IPC at PS South Rohini. Status report not filed. 2.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. Learned APP, on instructions, informed that the nature of injuries sustained by the victim is 'simple' in nature. Coaccused Nishant with similar role has already been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Bail Appln. 1676/2016 vide order dated 17.08.2016.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the role assigned to the petitioner, the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 40,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required.
