versus TATA POWER DELHI DISTRIBUTION LIMITED ..... Respondent Through Mr.Abhay Kumar with Mr.Tenzing Tesring and Mr.Ankit Agrawal, Advocates.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANMOHAN

O R D E R

% 30.09.2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent-TPDDL to install four electricity connections/meters in four floors of the property bearing no.517, extended Lal Dora Village Burari, Delhi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that after completing the construction of the property, petitioner applied for separate electricity connections for each floor but the same have been refused by the respondent on the ground that there is no space available for installing a transformer.

Learned counsel for the respondent-TPDDL states that the electricity connections could not be provided to the petitioner as the petitioner did not pay within seven days of the demand note being served upon him. He further states that in the event the petitioner

complies with the Delhi Electricity Supplies Code and Performance Standards Regulations, 2007, the desired electricity connections shall be released in favour of the petitioner.

Consequently, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to petitioner to apply afresh to the respondent-TPDDL and to pay the demand note within the stipulated period.

In view thereof, present writ petition stands disposed of. MANMOHAN, J SEPTEMBER 30, 2016 KA
