CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE JAYANT NATH

% 20.10.2016 CM No. 38517/2016 (exemption) Exemption is allowed subject to just exceptions. CM No. 38519/2016 (for condonation of delay) For the reasons stated in the application, the delay of 15 days in filing the petition is condoned.
The application is disposed of.
CM(M) 1048/2016 and CM No. 38518/2016 (stay) The only relief sought by the present petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is expeditious disposal of the suit. It is averred that PW1 is being examined for the last two years. Each time, the respondents are taking dates. It is further submitted that the petitioner has already crossed 58 years and if she had been in service, she would superannuate by 60 years. In the interest of justice, the trial court is requested to expeditiously dispose of the suit. Request for adjournment, if made by any of the parties normally may not be granted.
With the above observations, the present petition is disposed. JAYANT NATH, J OCTOBER 20, 2016/rb
