% 18.12.2017 Petitioner no.2 Kanhiya Lal is stated to have expired on 22nd November, 2017. Name of petitioner no.2 is deleted from array of parties. Amended memo of parties is taken on record. Respondent no.2 Ms Hemlata is present in the Court and has been identified by Insp. Rajeev Yadav. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. . She further submits that her marriage with the petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 24th March, 2017 passed by the Family Court, Dwarka, New Delhi. Respondent no.2 submits that she has already received entire settled amount and she has no objection in case the FIR No.109/2015 under section 406/498A/34

IPC registered at police station Inder Puri is quashed against petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos.2 to 4. Affidavit of respondent no.2 is also on record wherein she has given her no objection qua quashing of the aforesaid FIR.

Keeping in mind that marriage between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent, inasmuch as, settled amount already stands paid and respondent no.2 has no objection in quashing of the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No.109/2015 under section 406/498A/34 IPC registered at police station Inder Puri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
