Pursuant to the previous order, respondent No.2, Mr. Ved Pal Sharma is present in Court, as well as, counsel for petitioner. 2.

Respondent No.2 confirms that he has been paid the amount as per the settlement arrived at, by agreement dated 31st October 2023, before Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre. He has no objection to the compounding of the said offence.

Accordingly, the said complaint and offence under section 138 of NI Act, therefore, stands compounded in terms of the said settlement. Substantive sentence will, therefore, be set aside. 4.

Petition is disposed of in the above directions. 5.
