% 28.08.2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1. Respondent no.2-Jyoti is present in Court and accepts notice. She has been identified by SI Ashish Kumar of police station Bhajanpura. Respondent no. 2 (wife) says that she has settled the matter with petitioner no. 1 (husband) before the Counselling Cell, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi on 7th April, 2017 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She is living with petitioner no. 1 since August, 2017. Respondent no. 2 further says that she has no grievance against petitioner no.1 as on today and has no objection in case FIR No. 427/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Bhajanpura on the complaint of respondent no.

and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 and 7.

Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together after resolving their differences, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep them entangled in the criminal proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
