% 21.08.2017 This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India filed by the father of the missing girl.

Notice was issued in the matter. Tannu was produced in Court on 03.08.2017 when she had made a statement in Court that initially she had left her house on the assurance of one Aakash that he would marry her, but after she left her house, Aakash switched off his mobile phone and she was unable to contact him. She was rescued by a lady by the name of Urmila who gave her shelter. Tannu, who is present in Court today as well, submits that she did not wish to go back to her parental home out of fear and she voluntarily married the son of Urmila, named Vipin. She further submits that she had not informed Urmila or Vipin about her correct age. Tannu also submits that Urmila, Vipin or

any member of their family had no hand in removing her from the lawful custody of her parents; she had voluntarily left her parental home and she has no complaint against Vipin and his family members who have, in fact, helped her and provided her shelter when she was in need. Parents of Vipin were also present on the last date of hearing and had agreed to take full responsibility of Tannu. Parents of Vipin had also interacted with the petitioner at their home and the petitioner submits that the present petition may be disposed of, as he is fully satisfied that his daughter would be happy with Vipin and his family.

The petition is accordingly disposed of.
