CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 03.07.2017 It is submitted that a quarrel took place between the petitioners and respondent no.2 on some trivial matter which resulted in the registration of the present FIR under Sections 308/341/34 IPC. Petitioners and respondent no.2 have compromised the matter vide Memorandum of Settlement dated 19th April, 2017.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by the Investigating Officer. Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

A perusal of the FIR also shows that the quarrel took place between the parties on a trivial issue.

Respondent no.2 was discharged from the

hospital after providing medical treatment in the morning itself. Keeping in mind the totality of the circumstances, FIR No.193/17 under Sections 308/341/34 IPC registered at police station Rajouri Garden, which is at the initial stage of the investigation, is quashed in view of the settlement. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
