Crl. M.C. 3376/2016 Petitioners no.1 & 3 and respondent no. 2 (complainant) are neighbours. Petitioners no.2, 4 and 5 are also living in the same locality. Present FIR No.801/2014 under Sections 354A/354D/509/457/34 IPC was registered against the petitioners, on the complaint of respondent no.2, who alleged in the FIR that petitioners used to create nuisance and pass obscene remarks. They would make loud noise, use abusive language, drink liquor
and throw the bottles at night towards her house through the hedges. Being neighbours and residents of the same locality, petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably, with the intervention of their common friends. Petitioners have tendered apology which has been accepted by the respondent no.2. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by the Investigating Officer. She submits that she does not wish to pursue the FIR any further, in view of the compromise. Keeping in mind that parties have settled their disputes amicably and the fact that petitioners are students and their carrier is at stake, in the interest of justice, FIR No.801/2014 under Sections 354A/354D/509/457/34 IPC registered at Police Station R.K.
Puram, District South and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, subject to, however, petitioner nos. 1 and 3 depositing `5,000/- each with the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee within one week. Copy of the receipts, evidencing deposit of cost, be given to the Investigating Officer. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
