% 20.11.2017 Petitioners have prayed for quashing of FIR No. 195/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Khyala, New Delhi, in view of the settlement.

Respondent no. 2/complainant was present in Court on 19th July, 2017 and her statement, on oath, was recorded in Court, wherein she admitted having settled the matter with petitioners of her own free choice without any threat, pressure and coercion as per Agreement dated 15th April, 2015.

She further admitted that she had received entire settled amount of `7,00,000/-. She stated that she did not want to proceed further with her complaint and had no objection if aforesaid FIR No.

195/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Khyala on her complaint against the petitioners, is quashed. Joint statement of petitioner nos. 2 to 4 was also recorded on the same day. Today matter has been listed for recording statement of petitioner no. 1, which has been recorded on oath separately, in view of the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and private respondents.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, as detailed above, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 195/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Khyala and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
