CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJEEV SACHDEVA
O R D E R
% 29.09.2016 Learned counsel for the respondent has produced the copy of the prospectus as well as the admission notice along with the cut-off marks. The same are taken on record.
Learned counsel for the respondent points out that the minimum marks required for registration, as notified by the respondent - University, were 200.
She, however, submits that the cut-off marks for admission as on 20.08.2016 in the regular general category, to which the petitioner belongs was 234 and the last candidate admitted in the said category had a score of 215. For one remaining seat, the University has notified the cut-off as 214 and there are over hundred students who have registered for the same. The petitioner has also registered for it, however, the WP(C) 8200/2016
score of the petitioner is 202.
Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the last student admitted had a score of 215 and the petitioner has a score of 202. She submits that no student below 215 has, till date, been admitted.
In view of the above, I find no merit in the petition. The petition is dismissed.
