O R D E R

% 25.04.2017 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.2598/2015, under Sections 342/366/506, registered at Police StationShakarpur, Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No.1, Mr.Sarwar Hasan is the father of respondent No.2 Dr.Kahkashan Chaudhary and petitioner No.2, Ms.Rihana Begum is the mother of respondent No.2 Dr.Kahkashan Chaudhary. He further submits that due to misunderstanding arisen in the family, the complainant/respondent No.2 Dr.Kahkashan Chaudhary registered the aforesaid FIR. Counsel further submits that the near relatives and friends intervened and good sense prevailed upon in the family and all the misunderstanding has been sorted out and nothing remains to be adjudicated between the parties. He further submits that to maintain healthy relationship in the family in future, the present FIR, which is coming

as a hurdle in their way, may be quashed.

The respondent No.2/complainant, Dr.Kahkashan Chaudhary is present in Court today and has been identified by the Investigating Officer, SI Rahul Kumar, PS-Shakarpur. The respondent No.2 submits that all the misunderstanding within the family has been sorted out and she has no personal grudge against her parents i.e. the petitioners. She further submits that to have peace in the family and to maintain healthy relationship in the family, the present FIR be quashed.

Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances, since the matter pertains to family dispute which has been amicably sorted out and good sense has prevailed upon in the family, to have peace in the family and for maintaining healthy relationship between the parties, I deem it appropriate to quash the FIR and all its subsequent proceedings. Consequently, FIR No.2598/2015, under Sections 342/366/506, registered at Police StationShakarpur, Delhi and all proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. The present petition is allowed and disposed of accordingly. Copy of this order be given dasti, as prayed. I.S.MEHTA, J APRIL 25, 2017/radhika
