W.P.(C) 8149/2016 & CM No.33719/2016 (for directions) The petitioner has filed the present petition being aggrieved by the action of the respondent No.3 - The Registrar of Trade Marks for not issuing the Registration Certificate in respect of application No.932041 dated 14.06.2000.

Sh. Arun Kumar, Examiner of Trade Marks, who is present in Court, produces a letter of authority. The same is taken on record. Learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.2 and 3, under instructions of Sh. Arun Kumar, Examiner of Trade Marks, submits that the Registration Certificate shall be issued to the petitioner within WP(C) 8149/2016

a period of three weeks.

He submits that since the Registration Certificate is being issued after a period of 16 years of the application, the certificate will be valid for a period of six months, during which period, the petitioner would need to take steps for renewal of its validity. The statement is taken on record.

In view of the statement of the learned counsel for the respondents, no further orders are called for in the present petition. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
