% 16.09.2016 Petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 were married on 25th June, 2009 as per Muslim Rites and Ceremonies.

With the passage of time, relations between petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 became strained. On the complaint of respondent no.2, the present FIR No.1433/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC was registered at police station Aman Vihar. Petitioner nos.2 to 5 are the relatives of petitioner no.1. Petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes on 3rd August, 2016 before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Tis Hazari, Delhi. Marriage between petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 has already been dissolved since

petitioner no.1 has pronounced talaaq on 3rd August, 2016. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and admits that petitioner no.1 has pronounced talaaq.

She further submits that matter has already been settled. She submits that she has also received the entire settled amount and is not willing to pursue the present FIR any further. Keeping in mind the fact that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes, inasmuch as, entire settled amount has been received and marriage between them has already been dissolved, in the interest of justice, the present FIR No.1433/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Aman Vihar is quashed. Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti.
