Mr.Vijay Joshi, learned counsel for the respondents submits that he has obtained instructions from the Department to the effect that the respondents No.2 to 4 are in the process of forwarding a recommendation for revision of the pay structure of the Pharmacists cadre to the respondent No.1/Ministry of Home Affairs, so as to bring parity with the Pharmacists in the Assam Rifles.

Mr.Ankur Chhibber, learned counsel for the respondents submits that he has already filed a copy of the order dated 06.03.2017, issued by the Directorate General, Assam Rifles on the subject of "Implementation of the Fast Track Committee's Recommendations regarding revised pay structure of the common category post of Pharmacists cadre". 3.
Learned counsel for the respondents confirms that the said benefit has W.P.(C) 8177/2016
already been extended to the Pharmacists cadre in the Assam Rifles and the SSB and steps are underway to approach the Ministry for extending the same benefit to those Pharmacists who are encardered with the ITBP. 4.
This being the position, the present petition is disposed of with the directions issued to the respondent No.1 to consider and take decision on the recommendations that are being forwarded by the respondents No.2 to 4/ITBP, for revision of the pay structure of the post of Pharmacists cadre in the ITBP at par with Pharmacists in the Assam Rifles and SSB, in terms of the order dated 06.03.2017, within three months from the date of receipt of the said recommendations.
