O R D E R

% 23.01.2017 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.192/2014 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 420/468/471/454/120B/34 IPC against the petitioners at Police Station PS Swaroop Nagar, The complainant is present in Court. He is identified by the Investigating Officer. The complainant states that he has not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that he has entered the settlement out of own free will. The complainant further states that he joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

The status report has been filed. According to which, the signatures on the relevant documents have been found to be made by the petitioner only.

Looking to the seriousness of the allegations, the court was not initially inclined to quash the FIR even on settlement. However, the petitioner has pleaded that he is willing to atone for his conduct and states that he shall deposit Rs.50,000/ in the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund within two weeks.

Let the said amount be so deposited and the proof be produced with the I.O.

Accordingly, subject to deposit of the said amount, the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom stand quashed. The receipt of deposit of the amount in the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund be provided to the I.O. whereafter the case shall be closed. Dasti.
