On the last date of hearing, learned counsel for the respondents, Mr. Vivek Goyal had stated that three petitioners i.e. Petitioners No.1 to 3 herein have been appointed and their claims were rendered infructuous and as for petitioner No.4, instructions were awaited.

Today, learned counsel for the respondents hands over a letter dated 21st September, 2015, addressed by the Department of Personnel and Training (DOPT) to the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) enclosing therewith the list of names of the candidates, who have been appointed to the post of CT/GD in SSB, which mentions W.P.(C) 4837/2015

the name of the petitioner No.4-Ambika Yadav at Serial No.14. A copy of the said document/letter is handed over to learned counsel for the petitioners and is also taken on record. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners confirms the said position. 4.

Accordingly, this petition is disposed of, as nothing further survives for adjudication.
