O R D E R

% 19.08.2016 (1) Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioners for quashing of FIR No.103/14 under Sections 419/420/467/468/471 IPC registered at Police Station Barakhamba Road. It is stated that the matter has been settled with the complainant/respondent Nos.2 and 3 amicably.

(2) Mr. Hitesh Kumar-Respondent No.3 is present on behalf of respondent No.2 being its authorized representative. I have made inquiries from him if the matter has been settled with the petitioners without any fear and pressure. He has informed that the matter has CRL.M.C. 2091/2015

been settled with the petitioners amicably before Mediation Centre and they have no objection to the quashing of the FIR. (3) Settlement Agreement dated 21.03.2016 arrived at between the parties before Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre is on record. Copy of order dated 5.7.2016 has been placed on record whereby the payment pursuant to the settlement has been made by the petitioners to the authorized representative of respondent No.2. (4) Since the matter between the parties has been settled and Settlement Agreement dated 21.03.2016 is on record, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings. I am satisfied that the parties have settled the dispute amicably without any fear and pressure and affidavits of the parties are on record.

The payments pursuant to the settlement has since been made and the respondents have no objection to the quashing of the FIR. (5) In the interest of justice and to put an end to the litigation, FIR No.103/14 under Sections 419/420/467/468/471 IPC registered at Police Station Barakhamba Road and all the proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

(6) The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
