Crl.M.A. Nos.49119-49121/2018 (direction) Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant/petitioner, seeks leave to withdraw these applications, with liberty to institute an appropriate proceeding in terms of the liberty granted to him by this Court vide order dated 22.08.2017. Leave and liberty granted.

Accordingly, these applications are dismissed as withdrawn, with the aforestated liberty.

However, in view of the circumstance that, the applicant/petitioner's son lost his life while serving in the Overseas Shipping Company, the Ministry of External Affairs is requested to assist him in obtaining an appropriate and adequate compensation/insurance claim in accordance with law, on humanitarian grounds.
