% 22.09.2016 The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the statutory bodies. His contention is that he is living on the ground floor of the property bearing No. 2998, Gali Bashirruddin, Turkmaan Gate, Delhi. There is illegal construction going on in the property on the first floor and the second floor level.

On advance notice, learned counsel for respondent No. 1/North Delhi Municipal Corporation has put in appearance. Under instruction, she informs this Court that the first floor and a large part of second floor is old and occupied. New construction was noted on one part of the second floor. Illegal deviation/construction has been booked on 30.08.2016. Pursuant thereto, a demolition order was passed on 14.09.2016. Proposed action to demolish the illegal construction is now fixed for 28.09.2016. This submission of the

learned counsel for respondent No. 1 is taken on record. It is hoped and expected that all actions in accordance with law will be taken but only after giving show cause notice to the private respondents i.e. respondents No. 3 to 6.

At this stage, it has been informed by learned counsel for respondent No. 1 that a show cause notice had already been issued to the private respondents but they have chosen not to appear. No further orders are called for on this petition. It is disposed of.
