O R D E R

% 15.09.2017 Petitioner no. 1 is father of petitioner no. 3 and husband of petitioner no. 2.

It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably vide a Compromise Deed/Settlement Deed dated 1st September, 2015; therefore, FIR No.149/2010 under Section 406 IPC and Sections 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 registered at police station Shalimar Bagh on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with his counsel and has been identified by ASI Mohar Singh, P.S. Shalimar Bagh. Respondent no. 2 says

that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 further submits that he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No.149/2010 under Section 406 IPC and Sections 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
