The petitioner has filed the present petition praying inter alia for issuing a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant him the benefit of the second financial upgradation under the ACP Scheme on completion of 24 years of regular service.

Learned counsel for the respondents states that the decision taken on the above lines on 06.09.2017 was duly communicated to the petitioner on 26.09.2017. Copy of the aforesaid document has been handed over to counsel for the petitioner and taken on record and copy has also been furnished to counsel for the petitioner.
