O R D E R

% 28.11.2016 On an oral prayer made by the learned counsel for petitioners, Hunny, Sunny and Jagdish Lal are impleaded as respondent nos. 3, 4 and 5. Amended memo of parties be filed during the course of the day. Respondent nos. 2 to 5 are present in Court so are the petitioners. Petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between them, wherein petitioners as well as respondent nos. 2 to 5 sustained simple injuries. On the complaint of petitioner no. 2, a cross FIR no. 335/2014 under Sections 308/323/34 IPC was registered against the respondent nos. 2 to 5 at Police Station Khyala. Petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 have settled their disputes amicably vide Compromise Deed dated 19th September, 2016.

Petitioners and respondent nos. 2 to 5 submit that they have settled their disputes of their own free will and without any undue force, coercion and pressure. Respondent nos. 2 to 5 submit that FIR may be quashed. Keeping in mind the fact that a quarrel took place between the neighbours, which led to registration of the cross FIRs and the parties have settled their disputes amicably, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.336/2014 under Sections 354/323/341/34 IPC registered at Police Station Khyala and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
