CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJIV SAHAI ENDLAW
O R D E R
% 18.01.2019 Review Petition No.467/2018 & CM No.54460/2018 (for condonation of 22 days delay in filing thereof).
1.
Review is sought of the order dated 15th October, 2018 of dismissal of the petition, along with an application for condonation of 22 days delay in filing the Review Petition.
2.
The petitioner/review applicant sought admission to the two year M.Phil Programme of the respondent no.1 University in the Academic Year 2018-19. 3.
We are now in January, 2019.
4.
I have thus enquired from the counsel for the petitioner/review applicant as to how the petitioner can be granted admission at this stage, when nearly six months out of the two years duration of the course are over. 5.
The counsel for the petitioner/review applicant states that the subject course does not entail any classes or examination and entails only submission of assignments and presentation and the petitioner, being a meritorious student, will catch up within 11⁄2 year remaining.
6.
The same does not convince me. Once the last date of admission is over, which was in September, 2018, no admission can be ordered thereafter. Dismissed.
