O R D E R

% 27.09.2016 Present FIR no. 1000/2014 under Sections 323/354-A IPC was registered at Police Station Alipur against the petitioner on the complaint of respondent no. 2, wherein she stated that petitioner had come to the clinic of her husband (respondent no. 3) and a verbal altercation took place between her husband and the petitioner on payment of fees. While the verbal altercation was going on, petitioner slapped her husband and when she intervened, he slapped her also and scuffled with her, in which her clothes were torn. Respondent no. 2 and petitioner have settled their disputes vide a Compromise Deed dated 2nd March, 2016.

Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are

present in Court and have been identified by SI Prem Singh, P.S. Alipur. They submit that they are not willing to pursue the matter any further, in view of the compromise between them.

Keeping in mind that a quarrel took place between the parties on some trivial issue, which resulted in filing of present FIR and respondent no. 2 has settled the matter with the petitioner amicably, in the interest of justice, FIR no. 1000/2014 under Sections 323/354-A IPC registered at Police Station Alipur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
