O R D E R

% 26.07.2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No. 90/2013 under Sections 354A/323/341/506/34 IPC registered at police station Kanjhawala on the complaint of respondent no.2 be quashed. Vide order dated 14th February, 2017 trial court was directed to record the statements of the parties to verify if the matter has been settled between them with their free consent. Trial court has recorded the statements of respondent Nos. 2 to 8, namely, Saraswati, Mukesh Kumar, Dinesh, Sandeep, Santara Devi, Raj Kumar and Raj Roop on oath.

Respondent Nos. 2 to 8 are present in Court and have been identified by SI Narender of police station Kanjhawala. They submit that they have settled the matter of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, are not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that petitioners and respondent Nos. 2 to 8 are neighbours and have settled their disputes amicably in order to maintain harmonious relations being residents of same locality and the fact that respondent Nos. 2 to 8 are not interested in pursuing the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 90/2013 under Sections 354-A/323/341/506/34 IPC registered at police station Kanjhawala and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
